We biked, hiked, slid, zip-lined, train-ed, and rafted our way to Machu Picchu, discovered by Indiana Jones! There we climbed two giant mountains and got eaten by llamas.
Kidding about the llamas.

We sailed around the Darien Gap with a motley crew. Joe hit a bicyclist. Tim hit a dog, but we don´t talk about that. We camped out and froze to death, and then biked to Cuzco, Peru. Yeah. We´re back.
Seven Stanzas at Easter :: John Updike Make no mistake: if He rose at all it was as His body; if the cells’ dissolution did not reverse, the molecules reknit, the amino acids rekindle, the Church will fall. It was not as the flowers, each soft Spring recurrent; it was not as His Spirit [...]
Following our patron saint, Theodore Roosevelt, we finally arrived at the PANAMA CANAL!!
Man, Joe looks excited. We got out of Dodge – Guatemala, that is – and we’ve been rocking Southward. Travel, bike parts, a little sightseeing, and more travel. And, you know, near-death experiences. The fun stuff.

Ah, that time of the year when it’s “Back to immersion Spanish school”! Rock climbing, salsa, 5 hours a day of Spanish, a little volunteering, new friends, and travel. Good times, folks.
Gee, you woudn’t think riding to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, would take more than a few days. Almost a week? What’s up with that? Tag this one “mishaps”!
We finish our time in Mexico – one month and one day – and then roll around Belize.
Tim gets a god complex at the Mayan ruins. Joe gets lost, then un-lost. We spit Mexican moonshine into a campfire and film it so posterity will know how stupid we are. And the fun continues.
